When Delaware County decided to refurbish the 173 foot span bridge in Downsville, New York, they designed a single span beam. Unadilla Laminated Products took that as a challenge and proceeded to manufacture and deliver the longest engineered glue laminated beam.

Two cranes were used to upload the engineered glue laminated beams from the special trailer transport.

The beams were glued together in pairs, then sawed apart lengthwise at the jobsite to their final size.
